reduce
a zero waste lifestyle starts by revaluating what you really need. reducing purchases of new things or switching to more sustainable alternatives.
at so sustainable we help you reduce waste through minimising and, in most cases, removing all single use packaging. we've tried and tested a lot of the products out there and are more than happy to share what we've learnt with you. pop in for a cuppa and a chat!
reuse
after reducing, the next step is to reuse as much possible.
we take back all glass jars that our products are packaged in. where possible we send these back to our suppliers for them to clean and reuse. if we can't send them back we reuse them ourselves for a variety of projects.
recycle
all of our residual packaging is easily recycled but we don't want to stop there. We understand that there are some products that are currently very difficult to source without creating waste and in this convenience driven world we can all slip up some times. that's why we collect eco-bricks.
to find out more visit ecobricks.org or join one of our introduction to ecobricks workshops. see facebook for details.
